- Can I wash my Ugg boots or slippers? Yes, you can wash your UGG boots or slippers. Following the correct procedure will leave your UGG boots/slippers looking good as new.
-
Does protector spray protect my boots from water?
Yes, firstly, we recommend spraying your new UGGs/Slippers with Sheepskin Suede Protector spray. This spray will keep your UGGS cleaner for longer and reduces water stains. It' been specifically designed to apply a light film of protection on your UGGs/Slippers
- Can I put UGGs/Slippers in the washing machine?
When it comes to washing and cleaning your Ugg boots, putting them in the washing machine is the most easy and popular to get them cleaned. If you do it correctly, your Ugg Boots will come out looking and feeling good as new.
- Put your UGGs/Slippers in a mesh washing bag. This is recommend so this protects your slippers for when they are getting washed
- Load your UGGs/Slippers in the washing machine and pour in a small amount of odour and colour free washing detergent or powder into the dispenser. Play it safe and use a clear detergent to protect the sheepskin lining inside and any beige or light-coloured Ugg boots and slippers.
- Set the cycle to DELICATE wash and the water to COLD WASH before starting the washing machine. This will avoid any damage to your UGGs/ Slippers.
- When the washing cycle is complete, let them air dry overnight or until they are completely dry.
1. Will Ugg boots stretch out? and if so, how long does it take?
Yes, your Ugg boot will stretch out overtime. This is why it is important to make sure the UGGs feel snug and cosy when you first put them on, because eventually they will stretch about half a size and will mould to your foot. This is also why its important to get the correct size because they stretch a half size. The best way to break in your Ugg boots is by wearing them and walking. Even if they feel a little uncomfortable at first, the sheepskin will flatten and will form to your foot allowing more room. This will take no longer than a few hours.
2. How long do Ugg boots last?
Ugg boots last depending on the care and maintenance you give them. they can easily last you up to twenty years but you’ve got to take care of them and wear them in the correct settings. For example, Ugg boots are mainly made to be worn inside, around the home, they aren’t made for outdoor use. With proper protection and care, UGGs will last you a lifetime.
